Shady tricks with Greek myths

At present I am working on a book explaining and visualizing how to do shadow puppetry at home, using famous Greek myths (grade 3-6). Each spread describes a different aspect of shadow puppetry, including special effects possible, and how to make a foldaway theatre with cheap, readily available materials. The book provides information about Greek mythology and characters in the story, and includes references for teachers.

Plundering in Amsterdam

I am also working on a a historical young adult novel (in Dutch) set in Amsterdam in 1786-1787, the last two years of the Patriot movement in the Netherlands, during which traditional opposition against the stadtholder and "Prince" of Orange mixed with democratic aspirations among middle class citizens. Characters are based on witness statements from members of the personnel of bourgomaster Joachim Rendorp, whose house was plundered during riots between Patriots and Orangists on May 29, 1787.
